How to Download

Thank you for your order!

You know, when people are new to downloading, they often fear that they will “mess something up.” Please don’t worry!

InstructionsWe’ve prepared the following step-by-step instructions to help you with your download. Although the example you see here is for “The Worried Woman’s Guide to a Happy Hysterectomy,” you can follow these same general guidelines to download any of our eBooks or multi-media products.

We recommend that you print out this page, and follow the directions carefully. If something doesn’t work, just re-read the directions slowly and try again.

The screen shots and directions below are for readers using Windows 7. If you’re using an earlier version of Windows, or a different operating system or browser, your screens and process will be slightly different — but the principles remain the same.

Shopping CartAfter our shopping cart successfully processes your credit card payment, you’ll be taken directly to your personal download page.

If you’re on a dial-up connection, each download can take many minutes. Please be patient! Don’t interrupt the download or you’ll have to re-start.

If you have any trouble opening the file — or see any strange error messages — you probably need to update your copy of the FREE Adobe Reader software.

You’ll find a link for it here … Troubleshooting and Error Messages

That’s also the place to find help with printing problems and “garbage” characters.

If you don’t manage to download your eBook and bonuses successfully right away, don’t panic. You are welcome to contact our Support Desk with your question. But start here first!

A Note About PDF Files

Your eBook files are all PDF (Portable Document Format) files. PDFs make it possible for you to read the documents, on any computer … even if you don’t have the same software or type of computer we used to create them.

1. Click the link in your “Downloading…” email

You’ll receive an automatic email from us (usually within 30 minutes of your order, depending on Internet traffic). If you don’t see the email in your Inbox, be sure to check your Spam or Junk Mail folder.

The email will have the Subject: “Downloading your digital product”

Inside that email, you’ll see your own personal temporary download link:

Your link will have its own unique Order ID, which gives you access to your downloads for the next 24 hours only. (This is to prevent unauthorized sharing of the link.)

Some users do not see a clickable link (a link like the one above that is blue and underlined). If your link is not clickable, just copy everything from “http://” to the end of that line and paste it into the Address bar of your Internet browser.

2. Download your eBook

As long as you return to your personal download page within the 24 hours, you’ll again see a screen similar to the one below….

Since your eBook is on top, let’s download that first. Click on the first link, for your Happy Hysterectomy eBook.

Important: You want to save each file onto your own computer — either to your Desktop or to a folder that you will remember.

Don’t close this window! You’ll be returning to it again, to download your Tool Kit, Readers’ Stories, and Audio from the second, third and fourth DOWNLOAD NOW links.

Okay, now you’ll see a screen similar to this….

Click the DESKTOP icon (on the left) to save the eBook file onto your desktop. Then click SAVE.

On a high speed connection, this will download in a few seconds. If you’re on dialup, it may take 30 minutes or more. Don’t interrupt it!

When the download is complete, you’ll see a screen similar to this:

Good work! You have just saved the eBook onto your computer’s Desktop. Now it’s time to open that file.

Double-click the image.

Ta-Da! You’ll now see your open eBook…

3. Repeat step 2, for any other downloads

Return to your download page….

Now click on the second link.

Follow the same steps as before, to save any additional downloads onto your computer’s Desktop.

4. To open the files again later

If you want to return to one of the files later, just start up your computer. On the opening Desktop, you should see the 3 PDF files that you saved earlier. They will look something like this…

To open the PDF file, just double-click it.

Now you can either read your eBook on the screen or print it out, and perhaps put it into a binder, whichever you like best.

Cheers!
